Tyrone Centre of Excellence

This training and administrative centre for Tyrone GAA is a revolutionary and innovative development for the sport’s industry.

Set in a 40-acre site in Garvaghy, the Tyrone Centre of Excellence has been created to offer the best facilities to the county’s GAA team, sister organisations and the general public, with six flood-lit pitches; 3G multi-use games areas; changing rooms; a 200-seat auditorium and cultural display spaces. Designed in the shape of a Celtic ‘T’, the centre not only celebrates Gaelic football, but the rich cultural heritage behind the sport.

During its construction, Michael Nugent Ltd carried out complete mechanical services in this first-rate facility, including LPHW heating; radiant heating; fan convectors; public health installation; sanitary installation; utility site services; air-conditioning systems; dedicated mechanical supply and extract ventilation; BEMS installation and a condensing boiler.
