The Role:
Working alongside our Senior Contracts team you will be involved in projects within a variety of sectors. You will be fully supported – working with a dedicated engineer throughout the duration of the projects, who will share their extensive knowledge and experience, introducing you to the world of contracts management and allowing you to collaborate with the specialists who work together to make our projects a success.

This Role is suitable for an undergraduate or foundation student within the relevant area.

The placement is ideally 6 or 12 months for the right candidate with an opportunity to progress onto the graduate scheme following your graduation.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Objectives of this Role

• Design and Contract review.
• Engaging specialist and preparing tender information for pricing.
• Value Engineering and Alternative design proposals.
• Programming and managing Construction schedules.
• Procurement and Contract negotiation.
• Dealing with changes to works – both through design development and unexpected occurrences.
• Communicating with Clients, Sub-Contractors and other interested parties to plan progress, manage expectation and ensure everyone understands their responsibilities.
• Making sure the project meets the agreed technical and quality standards.
• Liaising with our internal departments to ensure the smooth running of the project.
• Overseeing final cost agreements with Specialists.
• Working on-site and in the office.
