Michael Nugent Awarded Hampton by Hilton Hotel Contract!
A deal has been signed with strategic developer Urban&Civic which has secured planning permission to build a new £45 million, 357-bed hotel next to the Stansted terminal at Stansted Airport, London. Michael Nugent has been awarded the contract to provide full M&E services for the new Hotel build.
The project consists of the development of a hotel comprising 8,670 m2 of accommodation space (357 bedrooms) and associated parking and vehicle access. Upon its completion, the Hampton by Hilton Hotel will be the largest of its kind in Europe, to meet the demands of the travelling public to and from Stansted. The hotel is to be located immediately to the South West of Enterprise House within Stansted Airport. The Site is ideally located; placed within a strip of land between the operational airside land to the North West and the dedicated railway line to Stansted Airport Station to the East to allow for close and easy access.
Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice-president for development of Hilton Worldwide said: “The introduction of Hampton by Hilton to London Stansted Airport is consistent with our strategy of developing focused service properties sufficiently close to the airport that guests can access the terminal without a shuttle bus.
Michael Nugent is looking forward to starting M&E work on this esteemed project and contributing to the expanding local economy of Stansted.
