Michael Nugent Awarded M&E Project with University of Ulster

We are delighted to be taking on a new Mechanical & Electrical project at the University of Ulster’s Faculty of Arts in Coleraine

UU Faculty of Arts

Construction is under way on our recently awarded project with the University of Ulster. Michael Nugent will be supplying full mechanical and electrical services to the University’s new building at their Coleraine campus.

The project comes as part of an ongoing development to create a vibrant student life for the campus users. This new three-story block will be linked to the existing building by a glazed walkway and contain a 250-seat lecture theatre as well as a range of teaching rooms for 20, 40 and 60 people.

Student hubs have also been incorporated into the design, offering attractive spaces to relax, socialise and network between classes. The development will be centred on delivering dynamic education for a professional life.

Michael Nugent will be working alongside Heron Bros on the project, commencing works on site in December. We’ll be providing a full installation of all mechanical and electrical works, ensuring this ultra-modern building is equipped with the best facilities.

While the project won’t be complete until March 2015, we’re excited to see the end result of this creative development.

Look out for more updates as works progress.
