Banbridge CTCC Wins RIBA Regional Award!

Banbridge Community Treatment & Care Centre was the Regional Award Winner at the RIBA Regional Awards 2016.

Five schemes were shortlisted for this year’s RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Northern Ireland Regional Awards, the winner being the Banbridge CTCC, Co. Down.  An RIBA Award is recognised internationally as one of the most prestigious architectural awards. Since their inception in 1966, RIBA Awards have been given to more than sixty buildings in Northern Ireland, with Michael Nugent being a part of 2 previously winning projects.

Regional winners will be put forward for the RIBA National Awards, with the lucky recipients announced in June. Those collecting national awards will then be considered for the 2016 RIBA Stirling Prize. Banbridge CTCC also won at the RUSA Design Awards 2016, winning best Public Building Over £3M.
